Services & Fees

First Step Abroad – Student and Travel Placements offers you a comprehensive service and helps you find a suitable volunteer or internship position and/or a language course. In addition, we offer a variety of leisure activities, day tours and safaris in South Africa.

Our standard placement fee is EUR 820 and includes all the services listed below.

The following services are included in the volunteer and internship placements:

• Personal consultation and customised placement at a suitable project/company
• Assistance with arranging and preparing your stay in Cape Town (prior to and throughout your stay)
• Assistance with visa formalities, medical insurance, flight, etc.
• On-site support (contact person in Cape Town)
• Help with finding suitable accommodation and car rentals
• Welcome package with a South African SIM-card
• Orientation & advice for Cape Town
• 24-hour emergency number

We offer free airport pick-up Monday to Friday from 08h00 to 20h00.
